Senior Manager Of Operations

The Senior Manager of Operations will be responsible for selecting partners and continuing to build a logistics team to handle importation, inbound transportation , 3PL Warehousing, QA, inventory control, and domestic outbound order fulfillment - onsite distribution operations solutions being a key component.

A successful supply chain team will implement best practices to allow for real-time visibility to materials, with verified on time delivery to our sites in line with promised dates. Implementation of robust KPIs will ensure obligations are being met and that performance is being measured.The Logistics Team works collaboratively with our Sourcing Team, our Construction operations, our IT Team, and Finance group to maintain ERP driven procure to pay operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following-

1. Apply the Company’s visions, pledges, and guiding principles to every facet of responsibilities in an effort to improve our Company.
2. Adhere to the Company’s Internal Control Policies and Procedures.
3. Develop and implement strategy to transport and distribute a wide range of consumer products such as case goods, lighting and plumbing finish items. Work with IT team to integrate 3PL WMS and tracking systems with our enterprise database and scheduling tools. Implement best practices for inventory management and last mile delivery verification.
4. Develop and implement Division specific community solutions to receiving and managing inventory

Supervisory Responsibilities:

1. Oversee transportation, import, warehousing and distribution operations
2. Manage and evaluate the performance of associates engaged in these supply chain activities
3. Provide effective leadership and coaching to direct and indirect reports including, but not limited to: delegating, staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

BA/BS degree in relevant area (Supply Chain for 3PL operations, production/manufacturing, ecommerce). Master's in Business or Supply Chain Management, LEAN, TPM, TPS or Six Sigma Certification or equivalent experience. Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management (+5)
