Join TotalEnergies as a Scheduler for remote sites including transloading locations, satellite terminals and consignment locations. As a Scheduler for TotalEnergies you will be a part of our largest affiliate; TotalEnergies Petrochemical & Refining, Inc.
TotalEnergies US Headquarters is located in downtown Houston and offers a hybrid work schedule after 6 mos of employment.
This position is critical to the successful operation of a plant; the production of which is planned to increase from 200 kt in 2022 to 230 kt in 2026.
General organization:
- Backup for Short-Term Pilot.
- Leads the monthly reconciliation of all SF inventory, streamline inventory reconciliation process.
- Management of inventory of:
- Transloading locations: storage, transfers, and planning.
- Satellite Terminals: storage, transfers, and planning.
- Consignment locations: storage, transfers, and planning.
- Consignment locations: storage, transfers, and planning.
- Satellite Terminals: storage, transfers, and planning.
- Transloading locations: storage, transfers, and planning.
- Responsible for the accuracy of inventory data.
- Responsible for monthly reconciliation of inventory for remote terminals, and transloading locations.
- Evaluates and implements necessary tools for this follow-up.
Optimization:
- Leads rail rationalization program to locate optimal transloading/storage locations.
- Implement KPIs to support optimization of supply chain.
- Contributes to the optimization of the Special Fluids platform from main 3rd Party terminal to remote terminals.
- Supports identification and vetting of transloading facilities.
- Monitor remote facility rental, throughput, and auxiliary fees.
- Process invoices as necessary.
- Works with rail coordinator to optimize rail traffic.
- Post stock transfers and rebrands in SAP, and work to optimize the process.
- Define the proper strategy in SAP to properly allocate costs to the right costs center and to properly capitalize costs in product value when relevant.
- Defines, executes, and optimizes the importation program.
- Optimizes the import/export flows.
- Schedules purchases with 3rd parties or affiliates.
- Schedules moves between production and satellite storages (before sale) and communicate to Logistics/Operations Department for timely and efficient realization.
- Complies with all TotalEnergies safety policies and practices, Polymers Americas safety activities and objectives.

Candidate profile
- Reporting to the Pilotage and Optimization of Production Manager, ensures inventory is well managed with optimized STO logistics according to sales forecasts.
- Monitors and reports inventory levels, risks to inventory & supply, activity, and efficiency.
- Oversees process improvement projects as required.
- Identifies opportunities that arise due to legislative changes, or production and Supply Chain capabilities.
- Detail oriented, structured approach to data management
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Language skills (Spanish, French) preferred but not a requirement.
- Good IT skill level required (Intermediate Excel, SAP inventory, Total Connect sales module).
- Must be well organized, able to communicate at all levels and across different organizational structures.
- University degree, general business with specialty in Oil Industry Economics, or Supply and Logistics.
- At least 2-5 years technical experience within an industrial process or production planning; experience in logistics strongly preferred, exposure to marine and rail transportation is preferred.
