Job Description

The Senior Scheduler will manage and direct all planning and scheduling activities of a large healthcare project through application of diversified controls, systems, principles, and practices. The position works under direct supervision, gathers, and distributes information and reports directly to the Scheduling Director. The Senior Scheduler must be a team player and have strong organizational and problem-solving skills.


What You'll Do:


  • Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment and Skanska Safety and Health Management Program.
  • Provide development/implementation of project controls standards and procedures;
  • Represent company and/or project in meetings with owner, A/E representatives and other contractors as required;
  • Ensure that corporate planning and schedule standards are implemented and that all project related activities comply;
  • Interface/maintain liaison with project management, owner, subcontractors, etc. on all planning and scheduling related items and functions including reporting requirements, progress status, new impacts, etc;
  • Assist in maintaining effective relationships with internal and external clients;
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction;
  • Works side by side with multiple teams across different projects in the region ranging from Higher-Ed to Life Sciences & Healthcare projects with a total portfolio of $200M+.
  • Able to review contract documents to develop project schedule details as a supplement to the project team
  • Plan, coordinate, supervise and direct all planning and direct all planning and scheduling activities;

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Bachelors Degree in a construction related field, or equivalent preferred but not required
  • 10+ years of related experience within large scale Higher Education and/or Healthcare projects
  • Advanced knowledge of P6
  • Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
  • Broad understanding of industry
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Ability to multi-task
