Dental Equipment Technician Jobs

SHIFT: Tuesday- Friday 3:00PM - 11:00PM

Saturday: 8:00AM - 4:00PM

Perform skilled maintenance and extensive repair of complex parts and equipment including dental units, chairs and lights, ultrasonic sealers, model trimmers, casting machines, engines, ovens, lathes, amalgamators, vibrators, glazing furnance, ultrasonic cleaners and x-ray machines. Disassemble components; remove and clean parts; perform electronic testing on parts or circuitry and repair or replace complex parts. Confer with vendors or manufacturers to resolve repair problems and purchase materials for repair.

Required Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:
2 years' experience repairing dental equipment.

Preferred Experience:
Training from a related trade school.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Mechanical ability and knowledge of electricity, electronics, plumbing, pneumatics, hydraulics, gas, and suction required.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $31.815. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
