The Role
The Fidelity Equity sales team is looking for a top-notch internal sales associate. This role is responsible for developing and qualifying B2B leads for prospective new capitalization table and equity compensation administration clients. Working independently to develop, target, and build a business plan for a national territory.
As an entry level institutional sales position, you will be primarily responsible for prospecting and pursuing inbound and outbound leads of prospective new capitalization table clients. Working in a team-based atmosphere, you will be responsible for identifying prospective leads in the venture capital ecosystem and prospecting venture-backed startups through thoughtful cold outreach. The role will include leading discovery calls with both outbound and inbound prospects to qualify opportunities; you will collaborate and develop positive relationships with our internal sales team to ultimately increase sales across our organization.
The Expertise We’re Looking for and The Skills You Bring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior SaaS Sales or financial services experience
- Solid understanding of the capitalization table and equity compensation industries
- Resiliency
- Growing the number of capitalization table and equity compensation plans sold
- Owning outbound and inbound outreach
- Encouraging and strengthening business relationships with centers of influence (COI)
- Familiarity with sequencing and sales engagement tools such as Outreach, Yesware, Hubspot or Salesloft
- Possessing the desire to move into a commissioned base, Account Executive role
- Delivering and applying consistent sales process to effectively develop opportunities
- Uncovering new opportunities to present SPS products
- Use of Consultative Selling Skills or other advanced language skills shown in a previous role
