This is a remote position and you must be located in the USA.
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating commercial results through prospecting, proactive outreach and professional communication. This is a high-volume outbound sales role to book meetings with qualified buyers.
Working at Adorama as a Sales Development Representative, the ideal candidate brings a hunter disposition, laser-focused approach on generating new business, and a champion mentality.
This role is designed for an early-career salesperson who brings professionalism, focus and persistence in overcoming obstacles. You will have an opportunity to hone your sales ability while learning the fundamentals of our business. For qualified candidates who exceed expectations, this may create an opportunity to advance to progressive senior sales roles.
The position requires the ability to manage time effectively, thoroughly document activity and notes in Salesforce and demonstrate business acumen. A strong understanding of industry and business functional trends and the ability to articulate Adorama’s differentiated solutions across product portfolio (I.E. Photo, Video, Drone, Lighting and Technology Solutions) are key.
This is a quota-carrying position and results are measured based on your ability to consistently schedule commercial meetings for Account Executives with qualified buyers at target companies.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales Director and Enterprise Account Managers to define strategy and contact lists targeting key decision-makers within Fortune 1000 organizations
  • Utilize lead generation tools such as ZoomInfo and Salesforce
  • Demonstrate professional, sales and technical knowledge by participating in available trainings
  • Willingness to try creative engagement strategies like video and share feedback on how the team can improve
  • Effective engagement of multi-channel prospecting methods (I.E. Cold-Calling, Social Selling, SalesLoft and Vidyard) to secure prospective meetings
  • Meet specific monthly meeting and pipeline metrics to help achieve sales goals while continuously improving sales skills
Skills & Experience
  • Team player with willingness to collaborate, support and coach peers
  • 2-3 years of sales or business development experience in enterprise sales or solution selling. Ideally in technology, consulting, hardware and/or services
  • 1+ year of Sales Navigator experience (preferred)
  • Hunter mentality and approach with a passion for creating new opportunities
  • Adaptable and coachable mindset to succeed in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of how to utilize prospecting tools like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft/Outreach.io and Vidyard
  • 1+ year of Salesforce experience (required)
  • 1+ year formal sales training (required)
Performance Factors
  • Exceed MBOs and objectives acquisition goals on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Achieve ongoing activity metrics, specifically sufficient pipeline, scheduled meetings and Salesforce compliance
  • Broaden customer base by increasing number of customers by facilitating meetings
