Job Description
What to Expect
Enable the next growth phase for Tesla’s charging business and the broader EV industry by joining a new team that is built around scaling infrastructure for enterprise vehicle fleet customers. As Account Manager, you will enable tremendous growth of charging hardware sales, working with procurement officers and other teams at Fortune 500 companies across a wide range of industries.
You will also become an expert on Tesla’s Supercharger, Wall Connector, and Semi Charging products. You will serve light and heavy-duty vehicle fleets at the lowest possible cost to accelerate the electric vehicle transition for entirely new industries across North America.
What You’ll Do
  • Educate business customers on the benefits of electrification, make recommendations on charging infrastructure
  • Oversee contract executions, working with Project Management, Estimating, and Finance to validate final pricing
  • Draft and revise standard forms with Legal
  • Complete and submit Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for strategic opportunities
  • Produce and maintain new marketing materials and sales processes for Tesla’s charging products
  • Track and report on key performance metrics of your business
  • Coordinate commissioning of installed charging hardware with Field Service
  • Fulfill orders for charging hardware; manage invoicing procedures and payment remittance
  • Manage a broad spectrum of customers using Tesla’s proprietary CRM system
  • Be the voice of the customer with Product Management, Engineering, Vehicle Sales, and other partner teams
What You’ll Bring
  • Relentless self-motivation requiring minimal oversight
  • Maximum 2-3 years’ experience managing business contracting processes required
  • Experience marketing and selling EVs or EV charging preferred
  • Strong attention to detail across all areas of work required
  • Have and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • Passion for organizing systems and databases to solve for a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated professionalism in a customer-facing role
