Summary:
Fleet Regional Manager is responsible for managing the day to day fleet operational activity from eligibility to order, in life services & end of contract processes; “To, On & Off the Road”, operationalizing the controls to measure & enforce vendor compliance to the agreed contracts. Control service delivery of the chosen vendor to all GE Businesses in all assigned countries to ensure a consistent level of service to the GE driver population. Define, govern and manage enterprise wide standard policy for car & services entitlement.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Manage Fleet specialist team to ensure smooth fleet operation activities in the assigned sub-region.
- Implement operating mechanisms including councils (P&L stakeholder per country), dashboards & vendor rhythm of reviews that measure, monitor & enforce compliance to the Enterprise standard & the vendor contract.
- Work with the functional business (HR Compensation & Benefits, Indirect Sourcing, EHS) & the GE Vernova P&Ls within the regions to implement & maintain an Enterprise Standard that defines the standardized policy (car & services entitlement) & wing to wing company car process.
- Coordinate proactive contract management disciplines to optimize Fleet expenditure through vehicle reallocation, rewriting contracts to accurate mileages travelled. Approve cost exceptions e.g. damage charges, challenging the vendor to minimize price walk up.
- Manage fleet database related tasks to ensure data accuracy and comply with IFRS standards.
- Partner with HR Compensation & Benefit teams & vendor identifying & implementing company car policy & recurring updates to improve driver experience & optimize cost on the operation of the Fleet.
- Implement driver safety training programs including license checks to improve driver behavior & reduce duty of care/safety risks.
- Coordinate reports and analytics on the assigned car portfolio
- Partner with HR to regularly reconcile employee eligibility for cars & fuel cards
- Manage driver experience & manage initial driver interactions for policy exception requests with a final escalation process agreed with Comp. & Benefits
Required:
- Strong leadership experience in either Operations, HR or within a fleet management organization
- Experience managing cross functional initiatives that drive process excellence
- Experience leading cross-functional or geographically dispersed teams
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of management
- Demonstrated leadership experience working in a Supply Chain or People Operations organization
- Strong analytical skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent knowledge or experience from an accredited university or college
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks & work to deadlines
- Fluency in local language and English, with polite, professional communication skills
- Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and Oracle
- Proven ability to work professionally & proactively with a remote client base
- Process management & project management experience strong written & verbal language skills English, preferable additional languages
- Experience of analyzing and improving operational processes in a matrix organization
- Comfortable delivering against quantitative and qualitative performance metrics
- Experience of driving strong performance from third-party suppliers & remote teams
The salary range for this position is 88,800.00 - 148,000.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a 10% variable incentive bonus.
