Job Description
ForceMetrics™ mission is to transform data for social change. We’re currently looking for an engaging, self-starting Sales Leader who will be pivotal in growing our presence nationwide. You will be the driving force behind selling our first product, aimed at transforming the way police departments and community services engage each other.
You will work closely with ForceMetrics leadership to set and drive go-to-market strategy, establish sales goals, foster customer relationships, and develop and implement processes to successfully bring ForceMetrics to a wide audience. As an early member of the ForceMetrics team, you'll have many opportunities to forge our best practices and create areas of ownership for yourself.
How You Will Have Impact
  • Partner with ForceMetrics leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for growing ForceMetrics’ presence in public safety agencies nationwide
  • Generate new leads and business opportunities, working closely with leadership to determine goals and targets
  • Develop deep familiarity with the ForceMetrics platform and its unique uses and advantages to solving real-world public safety and societal problems
  • Represent ForceMetrics at industry events and conferences
  • Develop and streamline internal sales processes, from prospecting and lead generation to customer acquisition
  • Initiate and nurture relationships with departments, city leaders, and government officials, serving as the key point of contact between ForceMetrics and respective institutions
Requirements
WHO YOU MIGHT BE
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • 3+ years of sales experience selling public safety software from the initial contact through to the close of the sale
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in a leadership/driving role or small team setting
  • Enjoy working in a lean, fast-paced team where you can take the initiative and generate results every day
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder; must be able to pass a FBI background check
  • Applicants with public safety, military and veteran backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply
  • Willing to undergo background checks in order to work with the highly sensitive data entrusted with us to positively impact the world
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM
  • Passionate about helping make a difference in the lives of many
