Skydog's first Account Executive/sales hire. This role is perfect for a successful SaaS Account Executive looking to use their skills to carve out a new path and role.
Compensation:
- Base Salary: $80k ($100k during 3-month ramp period)
- Total OTE (Uncapped): $185k+ in Year 1; $260k+ in Year 2

Our approach combines business-centric strategies, swift execution, and adaptability. With a $4M run rate achieved in just three years—without external funding or significant marketing/sales investment—we're a testament to self-sustainability and growth.
The Opportunity:
You'll have the unique opportunity to spearhead our sales and business development initiatives from the ground up. We offer a high-potential market: consistent demand, a quick sales cycle, and an average client spend that exceeds $100k per year. Your compensation will include a competitive base salary, along with commission/revenue share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently build relationships with referral partners, including Salesforce/HubSpot reps, investors, and existing Skydog clients.
- Close new clients, overseeing the sales cycle from start to finish.
- Source new business opportunities, including independent outbound efforts.
- Collaborate with Skydog’s executive team on presentations and creating pitch materials, scoping, and project estimates.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A clear bias towards proactivity - you quickly and consistently follow up and follow through.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Deep experience with CRM and RevOps tools.
- A proven track record in sales, closing $50k+ deals with senior executives.
- Ability to articulate complex technical solutions in an accessible manner.
