Job Description

About the Company:


JBAndrews are partnered with a producer of chemicals, ingredients and raw materials, serving the domestic pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and wider life science industry in the United States. With an ambitious growth plan and a growing customer base, the company are searching for a Sales Account Executive for the Florida & Puerto Rico regions to help push the companies expansion.


Summary:


The ideal candidate will be an experienced, ambitious sales person and proven account manager. They will have a clear track record of nurturing and growing a portfolio of business, selling chemicals, ingredients and raw materials into the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform various other duties as is required.
  • Manage an existing multi-million dollar book-of-business, nurturing and developing relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Prospect clients and understand their needs.
  • Budget and allocate resources efficiently to maximize outcomes.
  • Develop and implement regional strategies to grow sales and surpass targets.
  • Operate within the regional budget and according to company policies.
  • Travel will be an essential element of the role, at around 60%.


Qualifications:


  • Possesses analytical skills for independent problem solver.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience into the chemical industry.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs & packages.
  • A BSc degree in a related life science discipline, for example Biology or Organic Chemistry.
  • Prior experience in customer facing positions- comfortable with travel.
  • Strong communication skills and understanding of sales process.
