Department Overview:
This position is a member of the EASA Center for Excellence team, which works to combine lived experience perspectives, quality improvement data and research in order to develop and improve services to individuals experiencing early psychosis. The Center for Excellence promotes the integration of equitable, healing-centered, trauma-informed principles in its daily activities and throughout all of its work. This position plays a key role in managing data systems, interfacing with local community stakeholders, and developing visualized reporting which can inform and empower young adults, families, communities and EASA consultants.
Under supervision of Data Analyst III, this position coordinates and manages research and quality improvement activities within the EASA Center for Excellence in order to ensure accurate data entry and help facilitate use of data in decision making at local mental health centers and state systems levels. The Research Project Manager helps with the design, implementation, and evaluation of various research projects such as post-graduation surveys and participant feedback within the EASA network.Function/Duties of Position:

- Design, implement and create visualized reports, surveys and other mechanisms to facilitate evaluation and improvement of EASA services.
- Support Data Analyst in development of accessible, timely visualized data to support decision making by EASA Center for Excellence and its stakeholders including Oregon Health Authority, Oregon Legislature, local mental health centers, young adult and family advisory groups.
- Integrate feedback from young adults and other stakeholders in designing and interpreting evaluation and program improvement data.
- Participate as a full member of EASA Center for Excellence team, including team meetings, training and reflective opportunities, planning, coordination, and communications. Participate in other duties as assigned within team planning context.
- Make modifications as needed to RedCap and other data entry systems in order to improve usability and analytical effectiveness.
- Assist in interpretation of data and developing research and quality improvement proposals and strategies. Present data to stakeholders and at conferences.
- Work with local data entry, quality improvement and management staff to support accurate and timeline data entry and report access related to EASA quality improvement and research data.
- Design, implement and analyze targeted surveys and use of other data sources to provide input into evaluation and improvement of services across early psychosis programs.
- Experience collaboratively designing and implementing metrics and data systems with non-academic partners.
- Competency in data software
- Master's in relevant field AND 1 year of relevant experience OR
- Demonstrated ability to work with and effectively communicate with community programs outside of a research context.
- Competency in visualization and analysis
- Equivalent combination of training and experience
- Experience with cleaning and visualizing data
- Experiencing conceptualizing and implementing data focused on identifying differential patterns of access, utilization and outcomes with a focus on equitable access and engagement.

This position is housed at the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health in downtown Portland. Hours are normally between 8 and 5, with flexibility for remote work and modified schedules.
