Research Coordinator

As a Research Coordinator on the Commerce team, you will support Dotdash Meredith’s product testing initiative to create meaningful product insights for our users in the form of original content. You will do research on the product categories we are testing and collaborate with the Research + Testing team to determine the best way to test the product. You will help support the mission of our team by taking the time to dive into product research as well as organizing our testing documentation and managing our testers.

You will support the following verticals on Dotdash Meredith’s sites:

• Pets + Travel (The Spruce Pets, Travel + Leisure, Tripsavvy, PEOPLE)

About The Role

• Write surveys to gain insights on specific topics and analyze and package the results to send to editorial partners
• Collect and organize tester release forms
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure products arrive in time for testing and work with testers on possible exchanges/returns
• Gather and summarize long-term testing insights
• Conduct product category research, including expert interviews, to help inform testing
• Book and confirm testers for lab and at-home testing
• Create and update comprehensive product lists with all tested products and ratings

About You

• Comfortable working independently and prioritizing across multiple projects
• 1+ year experience in research, edit, and/or production
• Strong researcher who asks the right (sometimes hard) questions
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A self-starter who is comfortable working in a quickly changing environment
• A product enthusiast who spends time researching and obsessing over purchases with a strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in project management tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or Airtable

Pay Range

Hourly: $21.15 - $26.44

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
