Copywriter, Clinical Research – Home Based

Within a clinical trial, recruiting patients to participate is frequently the most difficult and time-consuming activity. To conquer this, AutoCruitment has developed a hyper-targeted, direct-to-patient online marketing platform to recruit, screen, and refer patients for clinical trials and specialty procedures.

We are currently looking to strengthen our team at AutoCruitment and are seeking an experienced and creative Copywriter dedicated to crafting excellent original content with experience and passion for clinical research.

Job Duties

As the lead Copywriter, you will be reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and working closely with AutoCruitment’s Corporate Marketing and Leadership Teams. General responsibilities include:

• Creating and editing content for a variety of projects, working closely with the internal team to brainstorm and develop concepts.
• Planning content creation projects in agreement with internal customers to agreed specifications.
• Maintaining a thorough understanding of the clinical research and trial market.
• Strategizing, researching, and creating content on the topics of clinical research, patient advocacy and patient recruitment to engage clients and potential clients and increase awareness.
• Compiling clinical research specific knowledge and content for use by internal stakeholders.
• Researching/ reviewing relevant clinical research literature.
• Ghost writing for C-level executives.
• Working on cross functional content creation projects involving executive, technical, and commercial departments.
• Completing content creation work within agreed schedules.
• Copywriting for corporate blogs, websites, white papers, and social media accounts.
• Assisting in establishing AutoCruitment as a thought leader in the industry.
• Creating compelling clinical research content and documentation.
• Communicating status updates to internal customers.

Education and Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience working in or alongside clinical research.
• Bachelors degree, or equivalent, in English, communications, journalism or related field health care, science or related field
• Demonstrated writing skills and ability to provide sample copy created.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a clinical research copywriter
