Job Description
  • Title: Clinical Pathway Coordinator Job Type: Regular Company: Roswell Park Cancer Institute Department: Clinical Pathways Time Type: Full time Weekly Hours: 40 Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Summary: Coordinates development of clinical pathways by multidisciplinary teams to standardize procedures, tests, treatments, educational materials and other areas as necessary for improved quality of care, better coordination of care, decreased risks, improved outcomes and reduction of unnecessary costs; coordinates health outcomes research within the Clinical Pathways and and the Roswell Park Care Network. Starting salary for this position is $64,589 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications:* Required Education and Experience Education and Experience 1. Master's degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of one (1) year of experience in research coordination and/or clinical pathways operations experience in a complex organization supporting healthcare, clinical trials, business, or financial operations; or 2. Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field and the equivalent of three (3) years of experience in research coordination and/or clinical pathways operations experience in a complex organization supporting healthcare, clinical trials, business, or financial operations. NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices. Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate should have one year of experience with audit, chart abstraction procedures, pulling EHR data, and generating metrics. In addition, the preferred candidate should have one year of experience building and maintaining electronic databases such as Redcap, previous oncology experience, current CITI certification knowledge of medical terminologies and cancer treatment terminologies and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
