Job Description

Our Client (a hedge fund with $9bn in AUM) is looking to add a healthcare research analyst to an internal investment team that manages a public equity long/short portfolio.


Responsibilities

  • Perform due diligence on potential opportunities
  • Create and maintain detailed corporate financial models
  • Maintaining models, performing data analytics, evaluating risk/reward
  • Assist the Portfolio Manager in evaluating investment opportunities for the portfolio.
  • Assist with ongoing diligence on new and existing investments, including:
  • Conduct independent research, valuation, and industry analysis


Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience on a healthcare equity research team
  • Ability to conduct public equity research independently, identify and assess key opportunities and risks, and summarize results.
  • Excellent written and oral communication.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
