Job Description

SHR Talent is partnering with a well-known investment firm in Nashville, TN in its search for a Research Analyst. The Research Analyst will be responsible for supporting the investment team by providing fundamental business analysis and financial modeling.


As the Research Analyst, you will research, analyze, interpret, and present data related to markets, operations, finance and accounting, economics, customers, and other information. To be successful in this role as the Research Analyst, you should possess a quantitative, analytical, and logical mindset, and excel at managing numbers and data.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with portfolio company monitoring
  • Assist with compiling investment memos for prospective companies
  • Construct financial forecasts and valuation models
  • Assist with trade execution
  • Collaborate with investment team on data-intensive research projects
  • Perform analysis and attribution
  • Build models


Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • 1 – 3 years of experience within the asset management industry, or a related industry
  • Proficiency in financial and accounting principles
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field, preferred
