Join this rapidly growing, Florida-based homeowners’ insurance company as their new Business Analyst. In this role, you will own the user experience on company applications, including working with stakeholders to define & write requirements, communicating changes to development staff, testing edits & new rollouts, and coordinating implementation. This is a full-time, permanent position and is fully remote with occasional travel to company HQ in Boca Raton, FL, for team-building events (25%).

Must Haves

• Insurance background (3+ years) with experience implementing rate changes, form changes, and business rules
• Superb computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, SQL, and Visio
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education & experience
• Outstanding written & verbal communication skills with ability to give thorough presentations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the capacity to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects independently
• At least 3 years spent in business analyst role with a strong ability to write business requirements

Nice-To-Haves

• Background with homeowners insurance; Florida-specific is a huge plus
• Experience working with comparative raters
• Certifications in project management, business analysis, or insurance license
• Proficiency with Extensible Markup Language (XML), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Jira programs, and Postman
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques; background utilizing Confluence
