Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $30-$43/hr

Must be a US Citizen per client requirements.

Must Haves:

• PowerBI Experience (ability to build reports)
• Excellent experience with customer service/interpersonal skills
• 2+ Years in a Systems Administrator Role (system level configurations, user management, and routine system maintenance)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with SharePoint/Advanced SharePoint Skills
• Data Analysis experience

Day to Day

A large university client is looking for a System Administrator that will work closely with four others, reporting to the Associate director of Project Management and will play a critical role in the ITS Project Management Office. This person will need to work in a fast-paced environment liaising with colleagues to resolve technical issues. They will maintain and train users on the business processes and technical needs for the in – house Portfolio and Project management (PPM) solution and develop and publish PO portfolio related reports using the PPM tool and PowerBI. This is a homegrown product that is built on a QuickBase platform; It is very old and fragile as this person will need to work in this platform to build the reports and pull data. This individual needs to be an SME in SharePoint and will own the help desk ticket resolution processes and will establish and maintain internal web presence using SharePoint. They will be responsible for system level configurations, user management, and routine system administration daily. On the data analysis side, this person needs to have advanced excel skills, be a proactive and critical thinker, and use the homegrown system to move, download, and upload tables of data. In addition, they will need to use customer service skills to get the data that they need and continuously follow up with the user. A few examples of this person will be working on may include; finding and downloading resource plans from QuickBase, giving and taking away access to SharePoint, and moving the data from one year to the next. This role will be very collaborative, and customer focused.
