Join our dynamic and thriving footwear company as a Regional Director, Sales, where you'll have the opportunity to help drive an excellent customer experience across multiple territories by providing direction, coaching, development, and succession planning for Territory Managers.
Responsibilities:
What will you be doing?
  • Culture: Build a culture based on trust and respect with both field and corporate partners while expertly leading large, complex teams. Exemplify appropriate Leadership by owning all messages that come to the field, creating a One Caleres Culture
  • Operations: Operate on an Enterprise mindset, ensuring all decisions are made by placing significant weight on what is best for Caleres. Develop and enact short and long term strategies that have measurable impact on the business and place stores and organization in the best position to excel, capitalizing on trends and leveraging external, internal, and customer data
  • Financial: Responsible for leading large complex businesses to achieving all financial objectives and consistently identify areas within the business to maximize profitability
  • Talent: Develop a strategy for your region that follows the principles of the Enterprise talent strategy, inclusive of but not limited to Succession Planning, Associate Development, and Proactive Recruitment

Qualifications:
What makes you the perfect fit!
  • Proficient experience using Microsoft products including Excel required
  • Proven history of results in leading a complex geography of stores
  • 7+ years of multi-unit retail experience preferred
