Job Description

Ainsley Search Group is hiring a Regional Supply Chain Manager to join a Global Electronic Manufacturer, this is an remote leadership opportunity with travel requirement. This Regional Supply Chain Manager will report to the Corporate VP of Supply Chain and support multiple plants, based off customer demand, manufacturing capacities to manage, optimize materials flows, purchasing strategies, better position materials pricing strategies and manage supplier relation, engage in contract management and negotiation as needed and establish relation with customers to optimize JIT, cost saving, reduce waste, backordered, overstock issues across materials. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with lucrative base salary, bonus and competitive benefit, in addition, company would like to develop the right individual to be the Director of SCM in the future.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on leadership to subordinates, work with Site Supply Chain Manager to determine staffing, training, and career development strategies.
  • Collaborate with customers and closely manage customer forecast, address engineering change orders, supply bottleneck in a timely manner to mitigate risk and ensure JIT fulfillment with customer demands.
  • Collaborate with 3PL on import, export, and domestic shipments, identify cost effective routes and support sourcing for new logistical methods as needed.
  • Report to VP of Supply Chain and lead a SCteam to streamline S&OP and SIOP, based off customer supply demand, production capacities, establish a materials flow strategy to optimize JIT, cost saving, waste reduction, further achieve optimal revenue and OTD.
  • Drive continuous improvement in material cost, quality, supplier performance, lead-time across logistics, inventory, production, and demand.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing team to improve procurement strategies, ensure proper replenishment strategy to meet production volume and avoid slow-moving inventory.
  • Track inventory trend using ERP, identify bottlenecks and issues, work with management to identify root cause and implement corrective action to avoid recurring issues.
  • Develop and improve Inventory KPI and metrics on raw and finished goods, optimize safety stock strategy to avoid shortage, overstock, and obsolescence issues, promote inventory accuracy to effectively control inventory cost.
  • Manage supplier relation, lead contract management, pricing strategies and supplier negotiation
  • Collaborate with program manager, product manager, R&D, Engineering, production planners, based on short-term and long-term planning and production demand to improve materials flow, implement Kanban and lean process to shorten lead-time and improve overall inventory performance (turns, DOH, Safety Stock, Cycle Stock).
  • Lead inventory cycle counts, analyze warehouse space to identify the best stocking strategy such as warehouse lay-out, slotting and picking methodologies for both existing and new materials.


Qualifications:

  • Excellent leadership, people and communication skills.
  • Experience working in contract manufacturing environment and exposure to electronic industry required
  • Thrive in a customer facing position, ability to establish a win-win relationship with customers and hold customers and supplier accountable as needed.
  • Independent thinker and a problem solver, able to make difficult decisions based off situations.
  • Able to work remote and travel at or above 50%
  • Solid knowledge with MRP/ERP, solid knowledge with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong in problem solving, innovation and creative thinking.
  • Recent experience with JIT, Lean Manufacturing Process, Kanban or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, or related field, higher education desired.
