Wage/Salary: $65k to $75k
Position Summary
The Regional Director oversees performance, delivery, and continuity of operations for a program function, group of offices or an assigned geography Maine. Position provides supervision to program managers and acts as member of Families Forward leadership team.
Central Responsibilities: Responsible for leading, planning and executing the operations in assigned areas and ensuring that systems are running effectively, and staff have the data, tools and information needed to achieve their objectives. Tracks performance and compliance with contractual obligations to ensure targets are met and standards are followed. The Regional Director is a key member of the Maine Families Forward. leadership team and provides back up to the Assistant Vice President of Operations.
Essential Job Functions
  • Runs reports in Fedcap CARES and uses data to create long term strategies for their assigned area's success.
  • Utilizes performance data and reports to ensure region is focus on priorities and outcomes.
  • Ensures wellness services are delivered according to contractual obligations for individuals served who present medical claims.
  • Upholds and ensures that all employees are fully informed of agency policies and expectations.
  • Builds effective relationships with OFI, community providers and employers to assist Opportunity Centers with helping participants to address barriers.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to team of Program Managers through regularly scheduled meetings and supervision.
  • Acts as a key conduit of information to ensure that their workforce is up to date on policy, program, and agency changes.
  • Establishes a high performing, data driven regional or functional team that is equally committed to the needs of individuals served and to achieving exceptional outcomes.
  • Recognizes and escalates concerns that may compromise operations and contractual obligations.
  • Ensures that their sites are delivering services consistent with our contract and TANF Rules and Maine Work Verification Plan
  • Conducts on-going case reviews and site audits to ensure compliance, quality of work and adherence to standards.
  • Represents Fedcap and Families Forward with all stakeholders and in the community in a positive and professional manner.
  • Identifies emerging trends and needs within their region to ensure staff have the training, resources and tools needed to effectively deliver services.
  • Acts as member of the Families Forward Leadership team.
  • Investigates and provides follow up and mediation for program participant, stakeholder and staff concerns including addressing feedback received through participant surveys, website, social media, and other inquiries.

Required Education And Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher degree of education and/or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license, required.
  • 5+ years of program management and supervisory experience, preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record for building and developing community partnerships.
  • Non-profit experience, preferred.
Travel
  • This position requires a minimum of 30% travel.
