Job Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading the Business Development efforts in their respected regions. This individual is an experienced salesperson who is also willing and able to roll up their sleeves and be involved in high visibility sales. This position reports directly to the Channel Sales Manager of their respective region.



Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with partners to develop sale proposals, quotations, and pricings
  • Identify, recruit and on-board new channel partners within assigned territory
  • Work with Operations and Customer Experience teams to ensure successful on-boarding for new clients where new clients find that the product, they were sold meets or exceeds their expectations
  • Educate partners about product portfolio and complimentary services offered
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management
  • Develop positive working relationship with partners to build business
  • Coordinate with partners to create and execute business plans to meet sales goals
  • Identify, implement, and manage measurable strategies to increase revenue, gain new customers and maintain current customers
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecast monthly sales, and identify new business opportunities
  • Stay current with latest developments in marketplace and competitor activities
  • Deliver customer presentations and attend sales meetings and partner conferences
  • Communicate up-to-date information about new products and enhancements to partners
  • Manage sales activities of partners to generate revenue
  • Address partner related issues, sales conflicts, and pricing issues in a timely manner
  • Leverage data to construct, forecast, and manage sales activities to meet revenue targets and company goals
  • Develop process improvements to optimize partner management activities
  • Analyze market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness
  • Evaluate partner sales performance and recommend improvements
  • Assist in partner marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns, and other promotional activities



Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of sales experience for a SaaS company
  • Presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently generate revenue and exceed sales goals by managing processes for identifying, qualifying, and closing new business
  • Proven track record of managing people, mentoring junior sales associates, and leading successful teams
  • Experience with CRM tools
  • Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Business, Communications, or related focus area
