Position: Recruiter/Human Resources Generalist
We are seeking a Recruiter/Human Resources Generalist who will primarily focus on recruiting for our Health Homes Care Coordination program. This role is also responsible for collaborating with employees and managers to communicate and interpret Human Resources and business policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Spearhead recruitment efforts and coordinate recruiting processes across various NADAP programs.
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to ensure the recruitment of top-tier talent.
Manage staffing coordination tasks, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, applicant tracking, and approvals.
Review job descriptions for effectiveness and compliance with NADAP policies and relevant laws.
Monitor candidate progress throughout the employment process, working in tandem with the HR Assistant.
Proactively engage with potential candidates who may not be actively seeking employment.
Source candidates through various channels, such as provided lists, online resources, networking, and direct outreach.
Administer pre and post-employment activities in adherence to employment laws and HR policies.
Conduct exit interviews and escalate feedback when necessary.
Oversee temporary/contractor hiring coordination in collaboration with managers and Finance.
Facilitate monthly new employee orientation and the onboarding process.
Conduct interviews as part of employee relations investigations and review corrective action plans.
Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to develop training and development programs, manage performance, and support HR initiatives within NADAP.
Lead or contribute to HR team and business initiatives and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.
Two or more years of full-cycle recruiting experience; non-profit recruiting experience is a plus.
Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and internet research.
Experience With Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS Or UKG Preferred).
Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational skills.
Competence in behavioral or structured interviewing.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interactions with employees, managers, and candidates.
Strong problem-solving abilities and effective issue resolution.
Familiarity with standard employment practices and procedures.
Proven administrative proficiency, including reporting and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently on assignments and initiatives while exercising sound judgment.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
Strong interpersonal skills with a client-service focus.
Working Arrangement
Hybrid schedule: 3 days on site, 2 days remote.
Compensation
Salary range: $65,000 - $70,000 per year.
