The Recruiter/Human Resources Generalist is mainly responsible for recruiting for our Health Homes Care Coordination program. This position also partners with employees and managers to communicate and interpret Human Resources and business policies and procedures.


  • Coordinate and monitor candidate progress through employment process, working closely with the HR Assistant
  • Source candidates through provided lists, internet, networking, cold calling, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills in order to effectively and professionally correspond, both verbally and in writing, with employees, managers and candidates
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and highly sensitive information
  • Knowledge of standard employment practices and procedures. Proven professional administrative capability, including reporting and analytical skills
  • Strong capability in creative problem solving and effective issue resolution
  • Strong computer skills, including MS office and internet searches
  • Handle coordination of temporary/contractor hiring, working with managers and Finance
  • Two or more years of full cycle recruiting required; non-profit recruiting experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of behavioral or structured interviewing
  • Effectively contact new applicants that are not actively job-seeking
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Lead and/or participate in Human Resources team or business initiatives and special projects as appropriate
  • Partner with Director of Human Resources to assist in establishing training and development programs, performance management and other Human Resources initiatives for NADAP’s programs and the Human Resources department
  • Lead recruitment efforts and recruiting coordination for NADAP programs. Partner with hiring managers to ensure that the organization is recruiting top talent
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work on multiple priorities concurrently
  • Handle staffing coordination requirements (job postings, screening resumes, interview scheduling, applicant tracking, approval process, etc.) as well as the interviewing and assessment of the candidates
  • Review job descriptions for efficacy, as well as compliance with NADAP policies and applicable law
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client service focus
  • Process pre and post-employment activities in line with existing employment law and HR policy and procedures. Conduct exit interviews and escalate feedback if necessary
  • Conduct interviews as part of employee relations investigations. Review corrective action plans
  • Ability to work on assignments and initiatives independently while using good judgment in deciding when to take action or when to ask for direction
  • Conduct monthly new employee orientation and new hire on-boarding process
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma required
  • Must have experience with an applicant tracking system (iCIMS preferred)


Hybrid schedule offered 3 days on site, 2 days remote.


Salary $65,000-70,000/year.
