Description

What you will be doing:
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist assists in the performance of HR functions to include but not limited to staffing, training, retention, employee relations & communications.

  • Perform filing, copying and other administrative duties as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support for performance management, annual review process and succession planning.
  • Assist with planning and implementing associate recognition and other activities.
  • Assist in executing all HR related policies, practices and direction from the company. Compliance maintenance and record keeping (legal posters, notices etc.).
  • Monitor retention and complete exit interviews.
  • Maintain an open door policy for all employees.
  • Ensure training completion/monitoring for non-exempt associates.
  • Maintain “confidentiality” with all sensitive information.
  • Complete full cycle recruiting process for hourly associates including compensation equity.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Process benefit actions, pay increases, associate reviews, etc.

What you bring:

  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and employees
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management & coworkers
  • Minimum degree required: High School education and or 2-4 years HR/office experience Experience: HR experience within a retail/commercial environment
  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to calculate figures, interpret and analyze data from reports
