Receptionist - Shadow Lake Animal Hospital

Seeking a Receptionist for our Shadow Lake Animal Hospital location. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, and your role is extremely important to our hospital's overall success. You will be responsible for welcoming our patients and clients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and providing general administrative support to the veterinary team. Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and clients to the hospital in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate and organized paper and electronic medical records.
• Assist veterinary staff with various administrative tasks as needed.
• Process payments from clients and prepare invoices for services rendered.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with scheduling appointments or directing their call to the appropriate department.
• Provide information to clients regarding hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and tidy reception area.

Requirements

• Must be able to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Must be able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• 1-2 years of previous experience in a customer service or administrative position preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
