Job Title: Qualitative Researcher III

Location: Bay Area, CA (Remote)

Duration: 12 month’s contract

Pay Range: $70.00/hour - $75.00/hour on W2

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Scope:

• For surveys, they will also managed them from end to end: writing them, programming them in Company’s internal tools or Qualtrics, pulling potential respondents in SQ (or purchasing them from a vendor)L, and analyzing the data in R or SPSS and writing the report.
• For playtests, they will manage them wholly: from writing plan to working with recruiting for the right players to moderating to synthesizing and presenting the findings.
• Mixed method UXR will interact with game development teams, turning their needs and goals into research plans – either playtest or survey.

Top 3 Non-Negotiable Skills:

• Experience turning qual and quant data into actionable insights
• Experience moderating user research sessions
• Experience with analysis and data modeling in R or SPSS

Qualifications:

• Passion for video games and a knowledge of various genres and their associated elements and mechanics is a must.
• At least 5 years’ experience running qualitative user research studies and writing and analyzing survey data and turning both into actionable insights.
• Bachelors or Masters in Psychology or Sociology or related field
• Education and experience with survey writing and analysis preferred
