Description

Tribal Tech is looking for a Project Specialist to provide highly-skilled support to Office for Victims of Crime in facilitating the delivery of training and technical assistance to the field aimed at building the capacity of victim service providers to ensure that a comprehensive array of services can be offered to victims of all forms of trafficking, including through enhancing their organizational structure, strengthening institutional sustainability, and establishing collaborative partnerships with other stakeholders in their community.
Essential Functions:
  • Leads large group facilitation, interviewing, training and technical assistance.
  • Serve as a liaison between multiple federal, state, local and tribal government agencies.
  • Identifies best practices and assesses performance measurement.
  • Manage TTA engagements to include delivery teams comprised of contractors and subject matter experts.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with project team members to develop, draft, and finalize client deliveries.
  • Attend meetings to help identify priorities and partnerships.
  • Develop TTA implementation strategies and monitor and assess implementation.
  • Conduct orientations for engagement sites and TTA providers.
  • Identify, vet, and evaluate subject matter experts for the provider directory and for specific TTA delivery.
  • Draft documents to include subject matter publications, statements of works for providers, and TTA specific summaries.
  • Monitors internal due dates and tracks accomplishments.
  • Demonstrate and apply subject matter expertise in delivering training and technical assistance (TTA) expertise in human trafficking, victim services, or a related field to tribal jurisdictions.
  • Receive, triage, and evaluate requests for training or technical assistance.
  • Conduct research on evidence-based practices and programs in the fields of human trafficking and victim services.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Effective program and project implementation.
  • Knowledge of national trends and initiatives; the organizations and individuals actively leading the field of human trafficking and victim services.
  • Must be able to favorably complete a background investigation.
  • Demonstrated writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with American Indian/Alaska Native communities required.
  • Ability to create effective messaging and direct contributions from multiple sources.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to apply continuous process improvement strategies, methodologies and principles.
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
  • Keen attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
  • 5 years minimum experience in human trafficking, gender-based violence, sexual exploitation, or victims services.
  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
