Project Manager - Acoustics Or Hardware

Volt is immediately seeking a strong individual contributor for the position of Engineering Project Manager - Acoustics or Hardware - for a renowned global technology company. This position will be a hybrid role sitting in Cupertino.
We are looking for an EPM to lead new product and technology development initiatives across new products. In this highly collaborative, impactful, and visible role, the EPM will work with a wide array of partners within Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering and beyond.

• EPMs are fearless organizers who are ready to work with the highly skilled Acoustic, Hardware, and Software Design teams to identify and resolve potential pitfalls to the schedule and risks to the quality of the product.
• Facilitate risk management and communicate status and issues to executives and the project teams. Understand the roles and responsibilities of the key partners and identify partners to efficiently drive key decisions. Remain in touch with big picture issues.
• In this role, you will work with folks within Acoustics to streamline and implement best design practices. You will initiate conversations with cross-functional partners to get buy-ins and support.
• It is a highly collaborative role where you will have the opportunity to oversee an initiative across product lines.

Key Qualifications:

• Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities.
• A minimum 5+ years project management experience. A strong technical back ground in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and/or acoustics, and/or software development Experience in consumer hardware and software.
• Ability to influence without authority.
• Excellent listening, executive presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong cross function coordination and project management skills.

Education & Experience

• BS degree in engineering required.

This is a 1st shift position with 40 hours in week, Hybrid role
Pay range for this role is 65.00 - 76.00 per hour. (Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.)
