Job Title: Project Manager - Public Works


Salary: $100k - $125k DOE + 401k, Benefits, PTO, & more


Requirements: 3-5+ Years of Project Management for Public Works projects


Are you an experienced and highly organized Project Manager with a passion for construction? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team! As our Project Manager, you will play a critical role in planning, overseeing, and managing assigned design and construction projects to ensure that goals and objectives are met within specified timeline and budget parameters.


In this role, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with field staff, technical staff, contractors, and management, and providing internal and external coordination and collaboration with project directors, partners, and stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to assist in the direction of key initiatives and projects with minimal to moderate direct supervision.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Review and provide recommendations on potential Change Orders and provide a detailed analysis of their impacts on the budget and schedule.
  • Regularly review project schedules, analyze and monitor construction progress, and provide feedback to the Director of Construction.
  • Oversee trade buy-out and financial reporting of subcontractors for assigned projects.
  • Represent the company in reviewing subcontractor requests and provide prompt responses to keep projects on schedule.
  • Provide value engineering reviews and coordination during project development.
  • Manage day-to-day work on construction projects and coordinate work status.
  • Handle procurement and processing of submittal packages and RFI's during construction.
  • Plan and forecast future needs and provide regular detailed reports on projects, resource allocation, project status completion statistics, and any variances.


Qualifications:


To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:


  • At least three years of experience as a Project Manager or four years as a Project Engineer.
  • Knowledge of project management software such as Procore and MS Project.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • An undergraduate university degree or higher, with a construction management degree preferred.
