Snap’s Augmented Reality team invents the immersive (and fun!) camera experiences that are at the core of our products. From developing creative new Lens features for Snapchat, to supporting the continuous growth and evolution of Lens Studio (our platform for an ever-increasing community of AR creators), to designing the cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning technology that makes face transformation Lenses possible — our Augmented Reality team is working hard on their mission to bring AR to more people, places, and moments, every day.

Our Sponsored AR team builds the ad format, ad delivery, and simple AR creation tools to help advertisers succeed with Augmented Reality. We work closely with Brand Strategy and Creative Production to help businesses create the AR creatives featured in their ads.

We’re looking for a highly creative Program Manager Intern interested in AR advertising to join our Sponsored AR team, working closely between Brand Strategy to help make everyday AR creatives more accessible to advertisers. This is a hybrid role that sits within Product but touches many other disciplines across the organization.

What you’ll do:

• Run creative split tests to prove out the impact of creative features and variations
• Create documentation and education to drive adoption of best performing creative features.
• Partner closely with Product, Data Science, Analysts to derive insights into the best in class creative concepts that can be translated into turnkey ad creatives
• Demonstrate best practices by actually creating lenses using our simple web based creation tool, Lens Web Builder

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• A team player who can collaborate with Product Managers, Creative Strategists, Producers, Designers, Sellers, and Data Scientists in cross-functional teams, and help maintain alignment towards key goals
• Comfortable with data analysis and statistics
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Some background in advertising design, creative production, graphic design, or similar role

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree graduating no sooner than December 2023.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A passion for Snapchat and creativity!
• Previous experience in advertising, program management, or augmented reality

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

• Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The hourly rate for this position is $18/ hr. This position is also eligible for a housing stipend
