Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Assistant to join our Humble Games team. The ideal candidate will assist the Publishing team in various tasks such as project coordination, expense tracking, payment support for development studio partners, and other administrative duties. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can handle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of materials, including game builds, press kits, and marketing assets
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and communicate them to the team
- Inventory management of development hardware.
- Ensure compliance with publishing and legal agreements and maintain records of necessary documentation
- Assist with the onboarding of new development studio partners
- Collaborate with the Publishing team to develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
- Provide general administrative support to the Publishing team as needed
- Support payment processing for development studio partners
- Track expenses and budget for multiple projects, ensure expenses are recorded correctly, and monitor budget vs. actual costs
- Assist the Publishing team in project coordination and organization, including scheduling meetings, creating agendas, and taking notes
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in project coordination, production, or publishing in the video game industry
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- A passion for video games and the industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred
- Experience with budget tracking and expense management
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
