Experienced Games Marketing Manager (Remote)

Want to work on some of the biggest indie game releases this year and beyond?

We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic and extremely knowledgeable Games Marketing Manager to spearhead the campaigns of several outstanding PC and Console projects releasing over the next twelve months.

As a key member of the PC and Console team, you will play an influential role in a wide range of tasks, from game trailers to campaign slogans, influencer programs, TikTok experiments, advertising campaigns, artwork discussions and more. You will have plenty to keep busy with, and supported by a very talented and growing team. You will also play a role in our future, assessing new games from developers looking to sign with us.

The successful applicant would be working solely within Playstack's PC and Console division which, following the incredible successes of Mortal Shell, The Case of the Golden Idol and more, is now preparing to launch its next series of major successful game releases across PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.

Who You Are:

• Intimate awareness of the currency of Steam Wishlists
• Exceptional instincts for video and influencers
• An intuitive understanding of a game's hooks and genre, and how to promote them
• You are a game marketer with a genuine and deep understanding of how game marketing works in today's market

How You'll Contribute:

• Aligning product pages with latest publishing ideas and opportunities
• Scheduling campaigns against each project's milestones
• Contribute and manage creative work: Input in Trailers, Art assets, Press Releases
• Maximizing visibility of product pages on Steam
• Steam Tags: Analysis and optimization
• Campaign management: Working with the marketing team and VP Publishing to schedule marketing beats, brainstorm new opportunities, execute approved plans, sense-test ideas
• Managing participation in the schedule of virtual events (Next Fest, LudoNarraCon, etc)

What you'll need:

• Minimum of 12 months of professional game marketing experience
• Experience with multiple successful games titles marketed and released with your direct involvement **required**
• A natural understanding of the current games market and a desire to be exceptional
• A degree of flexibility to work with global timezones, we have teams in Europe, US and the Southern Hemisphere
• Creative writing and video production experience a definite bonus
