Product Manager, Offer Experience

About the Role

• Build a vision: define a product vision for the team and identify near and long-term initiatives to build your product roadmap.
• Put to action: translate user needs and insights into product requirements by distilling user problems, writing hypotheses, and describing desired outcomes.
• Align teams: work closely with cross-functional teams such as Matching, Eng, Data Science, and Operations to align business and product strategy.
• Iterate: distill insights from various data sources such as performance dashboards and experimentation results. Then apply the findings back into the product development process.

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven 3 years experience as a Product Manager.
• Experience building consumer products. This role is strategically user-focused, so experience delivering highly successful and creative mobile user-facing products is a requirement.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
• Experience using data to craft strategic decisions. This is a sophisticated challenging space, requiring experience with experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• A love for formulating product visions from user research, gaining buy-in from essential team members, and crafting tangible roadmaps.
• A bias towards action, never hesitating to jump in and tackle challenges hands-on.
• A genuine passion for Uber's mission, our products, and the company's hybrid technology/operations nature.
• Deep understanding of marketplace products and an ability to use data, distill it into insightful stories, align teams, and drive strategic decisions.
