About This Role


We are seeking a creative and collaborative Associate Product Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing user-friendly and engaging digital experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the design process by collaborating with cross-functional teams to research and design for EverBright’s B2B and B2C products. We aspire to design user interfaces that are efficient, intuitive, accessible and provide clarity and insight for our teammates, customers, and partners.


What You’ll Do


  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and what they will look like
  • Use qualitative and quantitative research methods to produce research insights that will drive the product direction
  • Partner with more senior design/ product / eng leaders to ensure you’re on the right track.
  • Illustrate design ideas in Figma using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
  • Conduct A/B testing and adjust designs appropriately based on user feedback
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders to help align critical insights to the business need and timelines.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineer, sales, and marketing to successfully deliver new platform designs that emphasize ease of use and aesthetic quality
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems using analytics tools and present proposed solutions


Qualifications


  • Experience: 0-3 years of Relevant Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
  • Knowledge of basic UX/UI principals

Job Overview


This position will be responsible for all front-end design aspects of software development for solar companies using NextEra Energy software to design, sell, finance, and install projects.

  • Work closely with customers and product managers to gather user requirements and understand their needs
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues or problems and present proposed solutions
  • Conduct testing and adjust designs based on user feedback
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
  • Illustrate design ideas in design software using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps

The base pay for this position is $94,400.00 to $141,600.00 per year. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.
