BlueU provides adaptive, personalized learning solutions in the flow of work to meet the complex skill demands of our transforming business, contributing to the retention, engagement, and mobility of top talent. As a Principal Learning and Development Advisor, you will serve as an expert and thought leader in new and innovative approaches to learning design, deployment, and delivery. You will ensure workforce learning programs are well-positioned to leverage market-leading principles, approaches, tools, and technologies through a structured innovation program. This role is also responsible for driving execution of Learning Delivery and Curriculum Design COE, enabling organizational agility and continuous improvement.
This role will specifically support our organization’s Data and Analytics business group. As such, a combination of Data and Analytics and Learning & Development knowledge is strongly preferred. You will be working with executives (VP/AVPs) within Data and Analytics, managing 4 learning programs including – Data Literacy (enterprise-wide), Data-specific program for the D&A division, Talent Accelerator with multiple cohorts, and Enterprise Initiative (EI) Projects.
The ideal candidate for this role is a senior learning expert able to combine creativity, strategy, and employee experience with a deep knowledge of learning design, delivery, technology, measurement, and evaluation to drive enterprise talent development.
What You’ll Do
- Develops and executes the Enterprise Learning COE Measurement and Evaluation strategy with senior leaders. Designs measurement strategies and ROI (Return on Investment) studies for strategic learning programs that address identified immediate business needs, drive business value and align with long-term enterprise workforce strategy.
- Executive presentation of ROI studies to report on critical, high-impact learning solutions.
- Meet with Heads of departments to analyze and identify skill gaps and business challenges that can be addressed through learning interventions.
- Establish strategic partnerships to incorporate industry best practices, trends, processes, and products and services into professional development opportunities.
- Develop impactful learning recommendations that address identified immediate business needs, drive business value, and align with long-term enterprise workforce strategy.
- Use expert consultation skills to assess business needs, identify development gaps, recommend learning approaches and strategies that solve for talent development needs.
- Primary liaison between the Learning COE and the People Strategic Advisory.
- Leverage industry recognized learning metrics and tools to develop evaluation approaches including data collection, data tracking, data reporting and visualization, and recommendations.
- Anticipate future enterprise professional skill requirements to address evolving business needs through research of emerging high-demand skills that align with our workforce strategy
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required)
- 8+ years of experience in related field
- In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field
What We Like
- Strong working knowledge of learning tools - Storyline, Degreed, and online learning portals
- Knowledge of measurement and evaluation, skill gap analysis, audience analysis, reporting ROI to C-Suite leadership, and vendor vetting
- Proven consultative skills to determine best learning approach based on business needs including blended solutions, in-house support, curation, and vendor engagement support to fulfill learning needs
