Job Description

n2y is a national leader in creating and delivering educational materials and curriculum for the special education classroom. The company creates symbols, content and curriculum delivered using dynamic and interactive applications to students, teachers and parents. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as the Director of Professional Learning at n2y. As the Director of Professional Learning, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our organization's professional learning programs aimed at empowering educators to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of special education, and a passion for transforming teaching and learning experiences.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive professional learning strategy aligned with the organization's goals and vision for n2y.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of professional learning initiatives through data analysis, feedback collection, and assessment methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, research, and best practices in EdTech and instructional design to ensure the delivery of cutting-edge professional learning experiences.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning by providing ongoing support, resources, and coaching to educators in utilizing n2y solutions effectively.
  • Design and deliver engaging and interactive professional development programs, workshops, and courses that address diverse learning styles and levels of technological proficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize professional learning needs and objectives for educators.
  • Manage, improve and implement scalable PS operations, processes, and internal tooling to ensure timely delivery, tracking, visibility, automation, cost control and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the marketing, sales and customer success teams to promote professional learning programs and initiatives to educators, schools, and districts.
  • Lead and manage a team of professional learning specialists and facilitators, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.



Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Travel estimated to be 20-30%
  • Familiarity with various instructional design models, adult learning theories, and pedagogical strategies.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering professional learning programs, preferably in the field of educational technology or special education.
  • A bachelor's degree in education, instructional design, educational technology, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Ability to stay updated with the latest trends, research, and advancements in educational technology.
  • Demonstrated passion for improving education and a commitment to empowering educators through professional learning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire educators in professional learning settings.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources effectively.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of special education tools, platforms, and best practices for integrating technology into teaching and learning.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in evaluating the impact and effectiveness of professional learning initiatives.
