Summary:

The President will provide overall leadership that requires a broad vision and the ability to achieve exceptional operating results within a large complex health system. This highly engaged leader will build on a culture that promotes the values of compassion, integrity, inclusion, excellence and stewardship.

Vital to the overall success in this role will be a deep commitment to each patient and the unyielding focus on exceptional care. He/she will serve as the executive officer responsible for the effective operation of the hospital and its delivery of care and services. This includes accountability for the key quadrants of the “balanced scorecard” including quality and safety, patient satisfaction and customer service, associate and physician satisfaction, and financial performance.

Critical to attaining success in this role will be the ability to build meaningful working relationships with physicians in a “matrix model” including participation in the strategic planning and execution process while working closely with the OhioHealth executive team. Equally important is the capability to lead a talented senior administrative team within a cross functional organizational structure and foster trust and dependability that drives clinical excellence and organizational performance.

Given the ongoing growth of OhioHealth, this individual must possess the ability and desire to grow beyond this role and contribute to the health system on a broader scale.

Experience as a Hospital President, executive level operations leader (i.e. COO) or CNO is required.
