Role Summary: As the President of Sales, Project Management, and Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in our company's success by overseeing the sales strategy, managing client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. Your construction and construction management background will provide valuable insights to help shape our offerings and better address customer needs.
Objectives of the Role:
- Generate leads, establish, and nurture client relationships within the construction industry.
- Drive company objectives by setting sales targets, analyzing performance metrics, and forecasting future outcomes.
- Continuously enhance leadership, training, and hiring skills, ensuring the sales team employs effective tactics to meet revenue goals.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and guide a team of sales representatives.
- Identify consumer needs and align our solutions to address them effectively.
- Showcase a comprehensive understanding of our construction-related solutions while representing the company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand our customer base within the construction sector.
- Cultivate enduring relationships with potential clients, profoundly understanding their construction-related requirements.
- Lead recruitment efforts, establish objectives, provide training and coaching, and monitor performance to ensure task completion.
- Collaborate with the CEO on sales management, operations, HR, and accounting to allocate investment capital for growth targets.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct regular check-ins with the sales team to set daily objectives and track progress toward company quotas.
- Identify knowledge gaps within the team and devise plans to address them, fostering professional growth.
- Monitor and communicate essential quantitative metrics and business trends related to partners and clients.
Key Qualifications:
- 10+ years of successful sales and project management experience in a corporate setting, specifically within the commercial construction industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional leadership abilities that inspire and guide teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Proven track record of managing the entire sales cycle, from planning to deal closure.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated a history of exceeding sales quotas at higher levels.
- MBA (Master of Business Administration) degree.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Structural or Civil Engineering.PE or SE a plus.
- Experience with structural prestressed precast construction and methods.
