Job Description
The Four Seasons Hotel Miami is searching for a Human Resources Coordinator who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm about creating the ultimate service experience. Our employees have the opportunity to shape our guests experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of our world-renowned organization. The position will oversee administrative aspects of the Human Resources function including Workday and other systems administration, recruitment and retention of staff, communication to staff, training, new hire onboarding, benefits billing, and workers ’ compensation, safety, and recognition programs related to hotel employees. The Coordinator will also assist with Learning and Development initiatives, including; logistics for learning and development events, creating training materials, maintaining training logs, etc.
In addition to the aforementioned the position will;
Essential Functions
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors while maintaining the confidentiality of Human Resources.
  • Manage ordering of office supplies.
  • Oversee and help with all employee relations events, including preparing and executing from BEO to day-of coordination.
  • Comply with and enforce Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • Complete employment verifications and background checks as requested.
  • Manage Employee of the Month and assist as needed with Manager of Quarter set up and voting/award process.
  • Maintain I-9 and other work authorization documents.
  • Assist with filing, copying, scanning, faxing and answering telephones according to Four Seasons standards.
  • Manage the employee News Flash slide show and update HR bulletin boards around the hotel.
  • Perform as an office receptionist/greeter and welcoming face for all who enter the HR office.
  • Manage and assist with learning programs to include Embark, ASPECT, STEPS, and others as added.
  • Safety committee - work with Director of Security to host awareness campaigns/meetings etc.
  • Maintain employee Workday enrollment and account updates.
  • Assist with employee investigations and concerns, including but not limited to disciplinary actions and internal disputes.
  • Assist with the administration of employee programs and benefits as needed.
  • Manage the hourly recruitment process including responding to applications and resumes, checking references and processing new hire paperwork.
