As part of our expansion in the US, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team.
With a current workforce of 60 employees, which has doubled in the past year, we continue to experience growth.
This is a newly created position that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our HR operations and contribute to the overall success of our company.
This position is based in Orlando and offers the possibility of telecommuting up to 2 days per week.
" RESPONSIBILITIES: "
As the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, overseeing the HR operations in the US and reporting to the global HR Director based in the Paris area, France.
You will serve as a partner to the business and will manage a HR administration and payroll Specialist.
This is a hands-on role that requires operational expertise and a proactive approach.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Strategy and Policy Development:
- Collaborate with the global HR team to develop HR initiatives and projects.
- Implement the HR strategy and contribute to the improvement of local HR policies, practices, and processes in the USA.
- Serve as a key point of contact for our global HR team based in France, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to align local practices with global policies.
- Act as HR business partner to our local management team.
Compliance:
- Thoroughly understand Federal and multi-State labor laws and regulations, and proactively monitor any changes or updates.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal
requirements and best practices.
- Conduct regular reviews of the Employee Handbook, making necessary revisions.
HR Administration:
- Regularly report and analyze HR performance indicators to identify trends, areas for improvement, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure the accuracy of HR databases and keep personnel records and files updated.
- Oversee HR administrative operations, including payroll processing, verifications, staff inquiries, benefits programs, etc.
- Act as the software administrator for various HR-related platforms.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in administering and managing the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and job offers.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth integration into the organization.
Employee Relations:
- Handle employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and performance management.
- Provide guidance and support to managers in addressing employee-related issues.
Employee engagement:
- Handle internal communication within the USA and maintain strong communication channels with remote employees
- Coordinate office space planning and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
- Improve and enhance the remote work policy to support a productive and engaging remote work environment.
- Organize HR events and initiatives.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Implement programs to foster a positive work culture and promote employee well-being
" REQUIREMENTS: "
- Strong experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration
- Proficiency in HR software and systems (HRIS systems, Google Suite and MS Office Suite)
- Knowledge of French language and culture is a plus
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR, including 2 years in managerial roles
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- In-depth knowledge of US labor laws and HR best practices
