As an HR Manager, your expertise will be instrumental in shaping comprehensive HR strategies within our client's dynamic manufacturing environment.



You will join a trailblazer company in the sport fishing industry, that is recognized for its high-performance boats, intuitive designs, and robust construction.



This role is set to be performed in Opa-Locka, FL


Experience Requirements:


  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR strategies, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring, and employee relations, and the ability to apply these in accordance with employment regulations.
  • Familiarity with federal, Florida State, and Miami employment and benefits laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in HR implementations within Manufacturing/Industrial environments
  • Proficiency with HRIS and ADP software.
  • Experience in leveraging data for strategic employment planning.
  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in green fields, start-ups, transfers and any projects that involve tactical approaches aligned with strategic thinking
  • Proven experience in fostering a diverse, all-embracing, and team-oriented work culture.



Education Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)



Responsibilities:


  • Efficiently manage our outsourced payroll and PTO system, leveraging ADP software.
  • Design and implement a compensation strategy rooted in market research and pay surveys as well as the Performance Review and Merit Increase Policy and Procedure.
  • Manage relationships with Recruiting Agencies to ensure appropriate performance per companies’ goals.
  • Establish a comprehensive performance review system using KPIs, and oversee workers' compensation in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
  • Propel organizational development in alignment with the COO and executive team, fostering an approachable atmosphere that enables company growth.
  • Oversee the full talent management lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to retention and succession planning, ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for all team members.
  • Develop, implement, and keep the Employee Handbook and other HR-related documentation up to date, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. I.e. PTO Policy, EH&S program, Travel and Entertainment Policy, Code of Conduct Policy, Working Hours, Visitors Policy, etc.
