Payroll Specialist - Remote

Our client, a software company that helps other businesses manage their subscription based services, is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll including adjustments and corrections as needed, you will comply with federal/state requirements, and record payroll activity. Responsibilities

• Complete other tasks as directed by the manager.
• Responsible for completing Japan Payroll, Australia Payroll, and Canada Payroll.
• Monitor Pay leave and other leave benefits.
• Help Us payroll in other tasks.
• Monitor work payroll emails for additional tasks and questions from other employees.
• Responsible for reconciliation and determining correct pay of employees on Leave of Absence.
• Complete Month-end and Quarter-end tasks.
• Initiate Journal Entries to all other Payroll related bank transactions.

Qualifications

• Superior Excel, Word, MS Office skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations.
• 2+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll.
• Experience using ADP/WorkforceNow, ADP PayForce Australian or ADP Canada GL and NetSuite experience is a must.
• Must have an excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced knowledge of payroll compliance and billing.
• Hands on knowledge of payroll best practices.
• Must have amazing written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• BS/BA in business, Accounting, or related field; professional certification is preferred.
