Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Prepare and process multi-state payrolls for a variety of clients in different industries
• Stay up-to-date with current payroll laws and regulations
• Respond to and resolve inquiries from clients, employees, and regulatory agencies
• Ensure that payroll procedures are documented and processed accurately
• Analyze and reconcile payroll data, including benefits, taxes, and deductions
• Process and file required tax forms, including W-2s and 1099s

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and manage conflicting priorities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in payroll accounting
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP or Paychex
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll tax laws and regulations
