Payroll Clerk Jobs

The Christian County Clerk"s Office is accepting applications for a full-time Payroll Clerk. The Payroll Clerk position administers all payroll procedures and related employee relations activities. The primary responsibilities include bi-weekly payroll production, payroll processing related procedures, payroll tax administration procedures, retirement benefit programs administration, and accounting related responsibilities. In addition, this position assists with other responsibilities of the County Clerk"s office, including elections, voter administration activities, and any other procedures as directed by the County Clerk.
Education / Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required; Associates Degree preferred
Minimum Experience: At least 2 years of payroll experience
Payroll Clerk must be courteous, self-motivated, detail oriented, and communicate well with others. This position must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug test. Additional Information
