We are currently searching for qualified candidates for Payroll Administrator. Please see the details for the position below.
Title: Payroll Administrator or Payroll Specialist - Part Time
Location: Remote with the US
Role Overview: Responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, distribution and reconciliation of payroll and the administration of the payroll system. Reviews the computation of pay and associated deductions for accuracy. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of city, state, provincial, local, and federal legislation affecting payroll; understands and follows applicable provisions. Prepares required tax filings and other reporting. Coordinate payroll processing with an outside service provider. Responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding paychecks or payroll reporting. Ensures payroll issues are escalated and resolved promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Upload Payroll Notices received via mail into ADP Compliance portal.
- T&E reimbursements
- Work independently with cross functional teams to resolve payroll issues such as HR, Accounting, and managers/supervisors.
- Review and follow up with ADP Compliance items (SIT, SUI, & local tax).
- Review timesheets for accuracy.
- LOA, FTO & PTO
- Commissions, annual & quarterly bonuses
- Process Payroll for all employees which includes:
Experience:
- Required - Experience with VLOOKUP’s and Pivot Tables.
- Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, tax withholdings, and deductions, reviewing timesheets.
- Experience processing payroll for mid-sized to large companies.
- Maintaining employee records.
- At least 2-3 years’ experience as a payroll admin.
- Required - Experience with ADP.
- Coordinating with the HR department to ensure correct employee data.
