The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company’s regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule YEAR-ROUND.

Your Responsibilities

As a Part Time Student for John Deere World Headquarters located in Milan, IL, you will….

• Developing, testing of the features
• Integration of the features within the Product pipeline
• Perform back-end or full-stack application/software development leveraging the Enterprise Java platform
• Integtration Testing of the components in coordination with other product teams

This position is not available to students on immigration visas.

What Skills You Need

• Must be able to commute to the work location in Milan, Illinois, up to 5 days/month year-round NOTE: Relocation assistance is not provided.
• Graduation date of May 2024 or later
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly during the business hours of 6 AM to 6 PM CST
• Available to work during the academic year 10-20 hours/weekly during the business hours of 6 AM to 6 PM CST
• Must be registered as a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college/university
• Must be able to complete remote work at the manager's discretion
• Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering ; others may apply
• Experience with spring boot and API development
• Experience on Java and J2ee technology tech stack
• Good understanding of the OOPS concept
