Job Description

Remote 1099 Position: Our Medical Answering Service division is looking to add a member to our weekend overnight team for Friday and Saturday night shifts, 12a-6a Eastern time.


Responsibilities

The overnight medical operators answer and dispatch urgent and emergency calls from doctors, hospitals, and patients.


Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a professional medical answering service operator is required. Overnight experience preferred.

  • Available to start immediately
  • Experience with EMRs or Amtelco Genesis a Plus!
  • Quick learner, attention to detail, typing minimum of 50-60 wpm.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of calls in multi-line system
  • Dedicated Home office, Windows 10/11 personal computer, wired high-speed internet, USB noise-canceling headset.
  • HIPAA certification/re-certification is available.
  • Professional & positive phone presence!


Paid training, is $15 per hour to start. Contracted pay based on experience.
