GENERAL SUMMARY
The Service Desk Manager is responsible for leading daily Service Desk operations and tasks, supports the continual development of the Service Desk function, and assists with issue troubleshooting and escalation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Addressing Service Desk against SLA requirements
- Reporting, including KPI's
- Promoting a service-oriented culture within the Service Desk
- Leading the Service Desk organization
- Managing the Service Desk incident process, including tracking and monitoring
- Managing Service Desk ticket workflow
- Coordinating changes with incident and problem management processes
- Defining and implementing operating practices
- Resolving customer satisfaction issues
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Understanding of support desk metrics and reporting
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Experiencing managing and growing a service desk organization
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other similar related field and 5 years of industry experience in related Practice technologies
- 5 years managing team members
- 10 years of technical experience in Microsoft and or Cisco technologies
- Flexible with scheduling

Compensation for this role at DynTek will vary depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, a reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,000 - $125,000 base salary. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, and sick time), dependent on the position offered.
